John Frankie Grimsley, 66, of Pomaria, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland Memorial.
Born on July 20, 1959, in Pomaria, he was the son of the late John Leaston and Lois James Graham Grimsley. He was retired after 43 years from Georgia Pacific. Frankie was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and the Son’s of the Confederate Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Dominick Grimsley; a son, Travis (Malary) Grimsley of Pomaria; daughters, Jessica Grimsley of Prosperity and Lisa (Chris) Willis of East Flat Rock, NC; daughter-in-law, Anita McCullough of Prosperity; twelve grandchildren and lifelong friend/brother, Steve “Country” Dominick.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amari Grimsley and a son, Michael McCullough.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, at 4:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends following the service.
