Frankie Phillips Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Community Funeral Homes at Memory Gardens Cemetery - Guthrie on Mar. 5, 2026.
Frankie Leon Phillips, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, left this world to join his heavenly family on March 2, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 27, 1948, in Crescent, Oklahoma, to Frankie and Ruth Phillips, he grew up surrounded by the love of his parents and sisters Barbara, Shirley, Loretta, and Bonnie, who preceded him in passing.

Frankie's life was a testament to the enduring strength of love and family bonds. He shared an unwavering partnership with his beloved wife, Betty Phillips, and together they raised a loving family, including their daughters Janice Jordan, Shannon Campbell, and Frankie Caldwell. His role as a father was one he cherished deeply, and the legacy of his kindness and guidance lives on through his daughters and their families.

Janice and her husband Jack, Shannon, and Frankie Caldwell alongside her husband Alfonzo, brought joy to Frankie's life every day. His grandchildren, Nick, Kassi, Abbi, Meadow, and Ashton, as well as his great-grandchildren, Ace and Crew, were the light of his life. Their achievements and milestones were his proudest moments, and the countless memories they created together will be treasured forever.

Frankie's nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart. Each one of them benefited from his wisdom, humor, and the occasional fishing tale. He was the stone upon which his family was built, his influence and love a strong foundation for generations.

With a formal education that concluded at the 9th grade, Frankie turned his attention to the trade that would define his professional life. As a Stone Mason, he was known for his exceptional craftsmanship and work ethic. His hands shaped more than stone; they built a reputation of integrity and quality that was respected by all who knew him.

His commitment to his faith was unwavering, and as a devout Christian, Frankie lived his beliefs through acts of kindness and compassion. He was a pillar in his community, his church, and within the circle of his extensive family and friends.

Frankie's love for the outdoors was no secret. He cherished the times he spent fishing, a hobby that provided not just relaxation, but also an opportunity to connect with nature and those he loved. His friends and family will fondly remember these outings, where laughter was abundant, and the fish were (sometimes) plentiful.

Frankie Leon Phillips lived a life rich with experiences and love. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to inspire and guide them. As he rests peacefully now with his parents and sisters, his legacy endures through his family and the countless lives he touched. Frankie's journey on this earth has ended, but the story of his impact is far from over. His was a life well-lived, full of moments that will be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
