Bradley Jay Phillips

Bradley Jay "Brad" Phillips, 64, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, July 15, 1961, to Willard and Joanne (Sloderbeck) Phillips. On April 18, 1980, he married Doris M. Anderson, who survives.

Brad graduated from Marion High School and worked as a millwright and machine repairman for many years with Active Products, Gencorp, and Almco Steel in Bluffton.

Brad enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also liked helping his son at the Riverside Sporting Goods store in Marion. Although he enjoyed the simple things in life, Brad had a complex nature and enjoyed his life to the fullest.

In addition to his wife, Doris, survivors include his mother, Joanne Phillips of Marion; sons, Chad M. (Janice) Phillips of Marion and Christopher D. (Brynn) Phillips of Marion; granddaughters, Alexis (Cole) Watson of Upland, Adison Phillips of Marion, and Aubrey Phillips of Marion; grandson, Anderson Phillips of Marion; great-grandchildren, Riley, Asher, and Cayne; and his Sister, Beverly K. Phillips of Marion.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Willard A. Phillips.

The family will receive visitors from 11 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Needham Storey Wampner Funeral and Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Brad's life will take place at 12 PM with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion.
