August 5, 1954 ~ March 2, 2026
Patricia J. "Pati" Winchell, 71, of Gas City, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, August 5, 1954, to Russell Brown and Janie (Moore) Hayde.
Pati enjoyed gambling online and going to the casino whenever she had the chance. She liked mushroom hunting and fishing. Pati loved getting out of the house and more than anything, spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Micki Marcum of Marion; son, Jimmy (Corrine) Roll of Marion; grandchildren, Terra (Benito) Randolph of Marion and Mackenzie (Matt Lillard) Marcum of Marion; great-grandchildren, Paisleigh Randolph and Ava Randolph; brothers, Dave (Jill) Brown of Warsaw and Scott Brown of FL; sister, Jamie Dicus of Fortville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and close friends, Melissa Lane, Debbie Watts, Valerie McKinney, and Tracy Lidy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Brown; mother, Janie L. Hayde; and her beloved cat, Lucky.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Patricia's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Jeffrey Horsman officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
