Franklin (Peanut) Lee Arnold, age 61 of Bristol, Va., went to be with The Lord on January 7, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1963 in Washington County, Va.

Peanut loved to work on anything with a motor. He loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids and loved to ride all the grandkids on his lawn mowers, motorcycles, and 6 wheeler.

He was preceded in death by his dad, William Bill Arnold; mom, Ruby Arnold; uncle Paul Stewart; and his nephew, Lindsey Steele.

Peanut is survived by his wife of 33 years, Michelle (Marcella) Arnold of Bristol, Va; son, Joseph (JT) Williamson and wife Heather Williamson of Bristol, Va; son, Justin Williamson and wife Lacey Williamson of Bristol, Va; son, William Arnold and wife Elaina Arnold of Bristol Va; daughter, Tiffany Arnold Crabtree and husband, Jonathan (Jon) Crabtree of Bristol, Va; daughter, Paisley Arnold of Bristol, Va; son, Kaleb Arnold of Bristol, Va; daughter, April Dempsey and husband Chris Dempsey of Bluff City, Tenn.; and son, Joshua Mumpower and wife Kayla Mumpower Bristol, Tenn.; brother, William (Junior) Arnold and wife Cheryl Arnold of Bristol, Tenn.; brother, Robert (Bobby) Arnold and wife Lisa Arnold of Bristol, Tenn.; sister, Carol Dunn and husband James Dunn of Bristol, Tenn.; and sister, Lisa Steele and husband Jeff Steele of Bristol, Va.

He is also survived by his grandkids, Emma Matney, Paisley Arnold, Taisley Sizemore, Carolyn Williamson, Kamaya Williamson, Kaleb Arnold, Mary Williamson, Rose Crabtree, Albert Williamson, Cynthia Crabtree, Penelope Arnold, Abraham Williamson, expecting baby Crabtree, and 7 other grandkids.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jason Nunley officiating. Interment will be held on the Arnold Family Farm following the funeral with Sam Gobble, Justin Williamson, Joseph Williamson, Jonathan Crabtree, William Arnold and Daniel Gobble service as pallbearers.
