Wade was born in Athens, GA on November 23, 1970, son of Jimmy Haley of Carlton, and the late Bobbie Fortson Haley. He was a sales associate having worked at Franklin Guns Shop and was a member of the Elbert County Gun Club. Wade also attended Fortsonia Baptist Church in Elberton, and was an avid jeep collector.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Laura Johnson Haley; sons, Jonathan Wade Haley (Juliet Trubiano) of Royston, GA, Eli Martin of Carlton, and Ben Martin of Carlton; and sister, Yvonne Carlan of Carnesville, GA.
Funeral services for Wade will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2023, with Pastor Andrew Danals officiating.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Sunday afternoon. During other times the family will be at the home of Ricky and Libby Haley at 6 Wesley Chapel Road Lexington, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to U.S. Renal Care: 611 Cook Street Royston, GA 30662.
Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
