Franklin P. Pauler, 75, of Aldenville, passed into eternity on Saturday evening, August 12, 2023, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Wilkes-Barre from injuries sustained in a tragic accident on Friday evening outside his home. His beloved wife of 43 years, Virginia N. (Bowen) Pauler preceded him in death on April 29, 2022.
Born October 30, 1947 in Endicott, New York, Frank was the son of the late Paul and Alma (Lindsley) Pauler.
Frank was raised in upstate New York where he graduated from high school. After he and Ginny married and settled in Aldenville, Frank was a rural mail carrier for local post offices for many years. His big, broad smile and tender heart were among the characteristics by which he was lovingly known. Frank was a committed Christian and servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was quick to let others know that he cared about them, that God loved them, and he was ready to pray for anyone or any need that became known to him. His community knew that he could always be counted on. He was a faithful member of the Aldenville Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Trustee, and was involved in music ministry for many years. Although Frank has left this world sooner than we wished, we find comfort in knowing that he is safe in the arms of Jesus, and we will be forever grateful for the legacy of love he left behind.
His legacy will be carried on in the lives of his children; two daughters, Jannette Wilcox and her husband Dennis of Beach Lake, Kimberly Romance Christman and fiancée James Burd of Aldenville; and two sons, Jonathan Romance and his wife Heather of Lackawaxen, and Todd Pauler and his wife Sue of Waymart.
He was blessed with ten grandchildren: Megan Rosler, Joshua Romance, Thad Romance, Jacob Christman, Brittney Romance Meglio, Zachary Romance, Jeremiah Pauler, Allie Pauler, Logan Pauler, and Liam Pauler.
He is survived by six siblings; Dean Pauler, Shirley Pauler, Mark Pauler, Donna Parks, Dawn Savage and Ruth Vogdes; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Robbins and her husband Jim of Seelyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Aldenville Baptist Church, 971 Creek Drive, Prompton, PA 18456 with Pastor William Mountain officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. in the Aldenville Baptist Church.
