Franz J. Sauer
Irondequoit: Saturday, July 13, 2024. Franz is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Martha; his children, Barbie (Mike Zornow) King, Gary (Katie) Sauer; grandchildren, Ashley (Marek), Stefanie, Nicole, Sophie, August; great-grandchildren, Malina and Aleksy.
Franz enriched the lives of countless youths through his passion of coaching downhill ski racing and officiating soccer. He lived his life with unparalleled dedication to both his family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
His family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Wednesday, July 17, 1:30 pm at St. Kateri At Christ The King Church for his funeral mass. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
