Fred Brown Obituary
In 1972, Tyre graduated from Texas A&I University and went on to enjoy a long and distinguished career with ConocoPhillips, where he worked for 37 years and traveled extensively around the world.
Tyre was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had a deep love for his family and found great joy on the golf course and listening to his music. Those who knew him will remember his dedication, dry humor, and steady presence.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Brown; his daughter, Rachel Brown Wilchester, and son-in-law James "JJ" Wilchester; his grandson, James Laval Ater; and his sisters Donna Willis with husband Bob Willis, and Mary Brown with wife Mary Alice Carlson and sister-in-law Debbie Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Laval Tyre Brown; his brother, Bruce Brown; and his brother-in-law, Robert Paris.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, January 11, 2025, at Belmont Cemetery. Friends and family may leave their condolences online by visiting www.seydlerhillfuneralhome.com
All services are under the care and direction of Seydler – Hill Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas.
