Fred James Cubberly, of Terra Alta, WV passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Morgantown Health & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 77.
Fred was born on September 02, 1946 in Tecumseh, MI, a son of the late Lyle A. and Donna E. Saffell Cubberly.
Mr. Cubberly was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the VFW serving as a past Commander, and the Boy Scouts of America where he also served as a Scout Leader.
In addition to his parents, he was was preceded in death by two children, Kennith Cubberly and Fred Cubberly, Jr.; and siblings Barbara Hiser, Norman Bryan, Edward Bryan, Sally Beckstein, Susan West, and C. Dean Cubberly.
Fred is survived by his children Michael Cubberly and Donna Cubberly Brown; grandchildren Shai A. and Wyatt A. Cubberly; and siblings Jaclynn S. Hamilton and Lyle Arthur Cubberly.
At the request of the family, Mr. Cubberly will be cremated and inurned privately with Full Military Honors at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
