Fred David Linksweiler, age 75, of Cottondale, went to his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 1, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael Bowlin Linksweiler, Jr.; Mother Helen Louise Linksweiler; brother Jimmy Linksweiler (Sheila also deceased); brother Terry Linksweiler; and brother Paul Linksweiler (Lynda alive).
He is survived by his wife Klair Sue Linkswiler; daughter Meredith "Susie" Hughes (Terry); granddaughter Terri M. Hughes; and grandson Zachary A. Hughes (Senna); and his brothers Roger Linksweiler (Kathy); Darrell Linksweiler (Letha); Jerry Linksweiler (Patricia); and Charles "Buck" Linksweiler; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Fred loved his family, loved fishing, and was a general prankster who was often found telling jokes. He was an Army Veteran who served this Country. He was a hard worker who retired as an Master Electrician/Section Foreman from Oak Grove Resources.
