Roger Dale Linksweiler, 77, of Oak Hill passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV with his loving family by his side.

Born December 27, 1947 in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Michael Linksweiler, Jr. and Helen Louise Nichols Linksweiler.

Roger was a proud United States Air Force Veteran serving his Country. He worked for Philiips Machinery and in his leisure, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening as he loved his flowers, carpentry work, and his family. He especially loved his grandsons and aggravating them.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Linksweiler, Fred Linksweiler, Terry Linksweiler, and Paul Linksweiler.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife of over 50 years, Kathy Foster Linksweiler; daughter, Andrea Cox (Tommy); son Trevor; 2 grandsons, Kaleb Cox and Will Cox; and brothers, Darrell Linksweiler (Letha), Jerry Linksweiler (Patricia) an Charles Eugene Linksweiler.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the Maple Fork Baptist Church 1288 Maple Fork Road, Mount Hope WV, 25880 with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Military rites to be conducted by the Wyoming County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation for friends will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the church.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers
