Starlin "Starlite" Cooper, 66 of Oak Hill passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV with his loving family by his side.

Born January 18, 1959 in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Mitchell H. and Hazel Cook Cooper.

Starlin worked as a truck driver, was a member of GracePointe Fellowship Church for over 30 years. In his leisure he enjoyed racing drag cars and dirt track cars, four wheel riding, feeding his squirrels, and he loved spending time with his family  especially his grandchildren whom he loved deeply.

Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Cooper.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife, Patricia Suttle Cooper; sons, Adam Cooper (Tena), Starlin Cooper (Stephanie), Charles Dunbar (Jessica); daughter, April Cooper; grandchildren, Melissa Hensley, James Hensley, Skylar Hensley, Ashlin Dunbar, Dannilyn Dunbar, Walker Dunbar, Arianna Richardson, Autumn Cooper, Aiden Cooper, Aleigha Evans (Chase) and their daughter, Kenzleigh, Raegan, Mia, and Maverick Cooper; brother, Randy Cooper "Sparkplug"; and sister, Anita Neal.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Gracepointe Fellowship Church with Pastor Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Cooper Family Cemetery in Keyrock, WV.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the church on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
