Patricia "Patsy" Ann Settle Waddell, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born March 20, 1945 in Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late Herbert Land and Ella Merle Pennington Settle.
Patsy was a homemaker and was always full of life making people laugh. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, William Clayborn Waddell; grandson, Alex; sisters, Nina, Vida, Catherine, Frances, and Verna Mae; and brothers, Herbert "Buster" Larry Jack, James "Jimmy" Ira "Snookie" and Clinton "Pete.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving daughter, Lisa Garrett (Albert) and April Waddell; grandchildren, Allen, Albert, and Harley; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and brother, John "Johnny".
In keeping with her wishes Miss Patsy Waddell will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Page Baptist Church in Page, WV with Pastor Delmas Wolfe and Pastor Keith Cook officiating.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the church.
