Fred Arthur "Buzz" Minter

Fred Arthur "Buzz" Minter passed away on July 29, 2025 at Bowers Hospice

House in Beckley, West Virginia.

Buzz was born on October 14, 1939 at Hopewell, West Virginia to Frank

Henley Minter and Virginia Frances Grose Minter.

Buzz was married for 51 years to the late Judith Ann Mullins Minter, who

preceded him in death on May 7, 2024.

Buzz was an Army Veteran, a public school bus driver, a barber, and a truck

driver. One of his favorite activities was bowling.

Buzz was preceded in death by a son Scott Hunt, sister, Mary Dean Minter,

and brother, Jimmy Minter

Those left to cherish his memory are sons: Douglas Arthur (Crystal) Minter

of Ansted, Kevin (Susan) Minter, daughter, Karen (Scott) Chuyka.

Brother, Kenny (Melissa) Minter of Lansing.

Grandchildren: Dustin Minter, Amber Minter, Colton Hughart and Chase Hughart.

Funeral services will be held at Ansted Baptist Church, Monday, August 4, 2025,

at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Milburn Pack will be officiating. Friends are invited to

visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until time of the service.

Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens at Victor, West Virginia.
