Brian Potter Obituary
Brian loved his family; he was a kind and loving husband to his wife, Carol, of 54 years, and the best father ever. He was a strong Christian, a member of Ansted Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School after having spent over 40 years as a teacher and educator for Fayette County.
He was the son of Clyde Potter and Sarah Kathryn Simms Potter.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Carol Deitz Potter; daughter, Briana (Earl Franklin Bailes) Pritt; son, Brian Potter, II; brother, David Simms; and granddaughter, Sarah Pritt.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Ansted Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Eades, Pastor Randy Spurgeon, and Pastor John Skaggs officiating. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation for friends will be from noon until time of service.

I rode the school bus with "Binky". in the early 60s.I was in Jr High and he was in high school. When he got on the bus in the mornings he would walk down the aisle to sit down with big smile on his face ,greeting everyone with a good morning. My condolences to his family.
