On Sunday February 8, 2026 Richard (Rick) Jay Davis, 53, of Victor WV passed away surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born on June 3, 1972 to Lilly (Paul) Legg and the late Homer Jay Davis.

Along with his biological father, Homer Davis, he is proceeded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Along with his mother and father Lilly and Paul Legg , he is survived by his wife Amanda Davis, children Christopher (Kristen) Davis, Rachelle Davis, Erica Davis, Crystal (Dakota) Amick and his grandchildren Liam Davis, Lucas Davis, Caleb Workman, and Justin Amick. Also surviving is his beloved sister Tishie Ratliff along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rick loved spending time with his family and friends. He served his country proudly for 8 years. After the leaving the military, he loved spending time outdoors and traveling. He volunteered with FEMA and loved helping people. He was also a jack of all trades knowing how to fix any problem you sent his way. In the last few weeks Rick rededicated his life to the Lord and was looking forward to starting his new journey in church. It gives him family comfort knowing he is rejoicing with the Lord in Heaven.

We ask that you keep his family, friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
