Fred Lee Ramsey, born on September 18, 1931, in a small town in Alabama to Luzell Andrews and Bertha Ramsey, passed away on August 26, 2025, surrounded by love.

Fred was a man defined by strength, determination, and an unwavering work ethic. Known for his famous saying, "If you get lazy, you die," he lived by those words every day. His mind was his strongest gift, and whatever he set out to do, he accomplished. Freddey faced every challenge in life with grit and perseverance, carrying that same spirit with him until the very end.

Though he was not a man of many words, his actions spoke volumes. He taught those around him the value of hard work, resilience, and living with purpose. His quiet strength and powerful example left an imprint on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

Fred is survived and cherished by many loving family members and friends. His legacy of discipline, determination, and courage will continue to inspire all who carry his memory forward.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at 5270 Randolph Road, Rockville, MD 20852. Kindly RSVP by September 12, 2025, to Aleeyah at 240-277-1740. A mass will be held Monday, September 22nd, further details to come.
