Fred David Rich, age 65, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Portland, Texas. He was born on December 1, 1958, to David A. Rich and Naomi Mires in Sinton, Texas. He was raised in Portland, Texas and graduated from Gregory-Portland High School. He enjoyed hunting all over the world and spending time in Costa Rica.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Isabella Faith Rich (Berry) and Andrea Margaret Rich (Seay), sons Cameron Dario Rich and Colton Jack Rich; grandchildren Baily Steven Seay, Jr., Genevieve Lauren Seay and Ivory Rain Berry. He was preceded in death by his father David Augustin Rich and mother Naomi Rich Patterson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Winsteads’ Funeral Home, 500 Wildcat Dr., Portland, Texas 78374. Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 9:00 a.m. A private interment will be held for the immediate family only. His pallbearers will be Scott Brady, Austin Berry, Cameron Rich, David Pena, Randall Sloan and Laney Sloan.
