David Fred Sabolia, "Dave", of Fort Mill, SC and formerly of Akron, OH, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, March 13, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 11, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Fred and Ann Sabolia.
An honest and humble man, Dave touched the lives of many people through his tireless hours of using his skills as a carpenter, building and creating homes and working on numerous home improvement projects. His philosophy was "If I'm going to build it, I'm going to build it like it is for me".
Most important to him was his family and he will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, mentor and friend.
He leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by his survivors, his wife of 56 years, Donna Sabolia; sister and brother-in-law; Roberta and Frank Cirelli; in-laws, David Walters and Roberta Wheeler; nieces, Cynthia Natoli, Vicki Cirelli and Kim Finch; great nephews, Nicholas and Anthony Natoli and a host of friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the hospice nurses, physicians and staff, his beloved church family and friends for their unwavering compassionate and supportive care that was provided. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
