Fred Tully

Frederick J. Tully, of East Bridgewater, passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 78. Fred worked as a plumber in Boston until opening Fred Tully Plumbing in East Bridgewater in 1977, where he remained until retiring in 2022. He also served as the East Bridgewater Plumbing Inspector for many years. In his spare time, he was an avid golfer, proud family man and longtime member of the Commercial Club. As a friend of Bill W for 33 years, Fred served as a member, mentor, sponsor, and friend to the community that gave so much to him. He was a kind and outgoing man who got great joy from helping others. He will be deeply missed.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Dorothy (Moore) Tully of East Bridgewater. Devoted father of Timothy Tully of Whitman, Sheila Lane and her husband William of Brockton, Joseph Tully and his wife Jennifer of East Bridgewater, Sean Tully of East Boston, Kevin Tully and his longtime partner Nicole of East Bridgewater, Katie Morrill and her husband Brian of East Bridgewater, Michael Tully and his wife Anne of East Bridgewater and Fred Tully, Jr. and his wife Jenna of East Bridgewater. Cherished Grampa of 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Loving brother of Kathie Tully of Easton, his late twin sister Mary Warme and her husband Brad of ME and his sister-in-law Janet Bottiglio and her husband Mike of SC. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater. Please note additional parking will be at Bridgewater State University, Harrington Lot (Grove St), look for cones and walk through path to funeral home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10 AM at St. John's Church in East Bridgewater.
Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
