"Daddy" Fred Weaver, age 79, of New Franklin Church Road, Canon, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at his home.
Born April 30, 1943, in Hart County, he was the son of the late Aubrey and Littie Bell Pierce Weaver. He was a lifelong farmer and loved spending time with his family in the great outdoors and passing on his knowledge to his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the North East Georgia Saddle Club and the Georgia Cattlemen's Association. Mr. Weaver was a member of the New Franklin Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years: Evelyn Chappelear Weaver; sister: Mary Weller; and brothers: Bobby Weaver and Charles Weaver.
He is survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Annette & Tim Boling and Amanda & Erik Lunsford; sister: Angie Peterson; grandchildren: Brett Boling (Kenzi), Bailee Boling (Kaylee), Brandon Boling, Zoie Boling, Chloe Boling, Jakob Lunsford, Anna Lunsford, Clayton Lunsford, and Evie Lunsford; great-grandchild: Bentley Reagan Boling; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at New Franklin Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
