Freda Faye (Fox) Bailey
Mrs. Freda Faye (Fox) Bailey, departed this life on May 12, 2024 at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 3 days in Lexington, KY after a long illness. She was born in Lexington, KY on June 9, 1956, daughter of the late Tom and Josephine (Caudell) Fox.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 30 years, Mr. Robert (Bob) Bailey, a very special daughter, Miss Danielle Michelle Fox, and other family and friends.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by two sisters, Ms. Glenna McIntosh and Mrs. Virginia (Tim) Fox both of Beattyville, KY; one brother, Mr. Lawrence (Della) Fox of Stamping Ground, KY; and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Bailey retired as a cook after several years at the Lee County Head Start and Purple Cow Restaurant.
Visitation for Mrs. Bailey will be Thursday evening, May 16, 2024 from 5-6 PM for immediate family and 6-9 pm for other family and friends. Services will be officiated by Rev. William Owens on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Newnam Funeral Home in Beattyville, KY at 12 PM. She will be laid to rest at the Fox Cemetery in Long Shoal, KY (Lee County).
Pallbearers will be Tracy Bailey, Trey Turner, Donnie Shuler, Christopher Phillips, Robin Fox, Matt Olinger, and Joey Morris.
