Freda B. Leyrer

Freda B. Leyrer, 89, of Robbinsville passed away on Sunday at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Robbinsville for more than 35 years. Freda raised her family and worked alongside her husband at Leyrer and Smith Garden Center in Hamilton Square. Later, she worked in real estate at Mina Smith Realty and Lambert Realty.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Kathleen Callaghan Walsh, cousin of the late Gerald "Jerry" Callaghan, wife of the late Elmer E. Leyrer; sister of the late Calvin Eamon Walsh, grandmother of the late Rebecca L. De Vito Genovario; she is survived by her children, Sharon and husband Guy De Vito, Gary Leyrer, Diane and husband Donnie Dey and Michele Harris; grandchildren, Erin and husband Stephen Slebodnick, Adam Leyrer, Brian and wife Stephanie Leyrer, Katelyn Camp, Molly De Vito and Daniel and wife Trisha Dey; many great grandchildren, and also cousins living in Ireland.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 6 – 7pm at the Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Burial will be private.
