Mr. Freddie Morris Grace, age 86, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held the same day, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM with interment to follow in Tyree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson County, Kentucky.
Freddie was born on December 27, 1938 in Simpson County, KY to the late James T. Grace and the late Ollie Versie (Shrum) Grace. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Burrell and siblings, Carmen Grace, Homer Ray Grace, J.W. Grace, Luke Grace, Ruth Gregory, Violet Anglea and Margie Howard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Becky (Anderson) Grace; six children, Teresa McGuire (Tim) of Hodgenville, KY, Freda Burrell (Wayne) of Franklin, KY, Edward “Bubba” Grace (Ann Marie) of Franklin, KY, Jimmy Grace (Jennifer) of Scottsville, KY, Melinda Jones of Franklin, KY and Scott Grace (Bobbie Jo) of Franklin, KY; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and their pup, Remi.
Freddie was a lifetime member of Tyree Chapel Church of Christ in Simpson County, KY. He owned and operated Freddie's Furniture in Franklin, KY for many years and was an original partner of Friendly Furniture in Franklin, KY. Freddie enjoyed mowing, riding motorcycles, piddling in his garage and working on things.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Tyree Chapel Church of Christ, c/o Tony Grace, 624 Morgantown Road, Franklin, KY 42134. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
