Freddie Hicks was a loving father, devoted brother, and a steadfast provider. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Freddie passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 64-still young in spirit and full of love.
He leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family. Freddie was a hard worker— relentless, passionate, and driven. Through every challenge life placed in his path, he remained focused on one purpose: providing for those he loved. Freddie was the proud father of six children: Kenneth Hicks, Dominique Hicks, Loretta Hicks, Sergio Louden, Freddie Hicks Jr., and Omar Striggles. He also leaves behind three loving brothers: Andre Blades, Daniel Blades, and Darren Blades.
He was the cherished son of Harold and Loretta Hicks-Blade. His family and many friends will remember him as a man of integrity, heart, and incredible resilience-a man who stood tall for his family no matter the odds.
Freddie Hicks' love, sacrifice, and memory will live on forever through the lives of his children and all who knew him. He will be truly missed, and his name will forever be carried with honor.
