Freddie was truly one of a kind; They broke the mold when they made him. As a landscaper, he took pride in his work and wasn't afraid of hard work. But what people will remember the most about him wasnt just what he did- it was how he made people feel. If you knew Freddie once, you had a friend for life.
Freddie loved the things that made life exciting and meaningful for him. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and anything to do with a MOPAR. But above all else, Freddie was a family man.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Tracie Loyd, and a proud father of his daughters, Amber Vaughan & Kaitlyn Loyd. His greatest joy in life was being "Papa" to his granddaughters, Maggie Loyd & Aubree McLeod. They were his whole world, and nothing made him smile more than being with them.
Freddie lived a life that left a mark on people. His kindness, humor, and willingness to help anyone will never be forgotten. He knew people everywhere he went, and he made each one of them feel important.
There are some people whose presence fills a room, whose laughter you can hear before you see them, and whose love you feel without a single word. Freddie was that person. His family was the heart and center of his world.
The world feels a little quieter without him, but anyone who knew Freddie knows his spirit will never truly leave.
A graveside service will be held on March 7th, 2026, 2 P. M. at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton. Following the service, family & friends are invited to gather at the family home for a celebration of life to honor Freddie, share stories, and celebrate the incredible man he was.
If love alone could have kept him here, he would have lived forever.
