Frederic William Cole

Fred Cole, age 83, passed away on April 4, 2022. He was born in Detroit on December 22, 1938 to Joseph Cole and Ruth Hacker Cole. On September 21, 1973 he married Sharon Guthrie and the couple made their home in Southfield. Fred was employed as a truck driver for Walmart and achieved the distinction of driving over One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Safe Miles! He will be remembered for his enjoyment of railroading and being a train enthusiast. Devoted husband of Sharon for 48 years. Loving father of the late Dale Guthrie, Pamela Brooks, Michael Guthrie, Laura Guthrie, Jeffrey Guthrie, the late Adam Guthrie, Donald Cole, Frederic Cole, Jr., David Cole and Thomas Cole. Proud grandfather of Sara Guthrie, Martha Guthrie, Chelsea Guthrie and great grandfather of Devlyn Guthrie and Zayde Guthrie. Visitation Saturday 10 am until time of funeral 12 noon at Wm.
