Freddie was reared and received his early education at Gillette Jr. High School. He enjoyed tinkering, especially with any electronic he could get his hands on. Freddie married the love of his life, Mary Coleman, May 24, 1980. He was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Marvin and Harry Cohrt.
Survivors include his wife; aunt, Margaret Fines; and cousins, Kris Snodgrass, Marie Reynolds, and Sara Beth Dawson.
