Frederick William Goering

Frederick William Goering, age 95, passed away on Monday December 15, 2025, in Waupaca. Frederick was born on September 10, 1930, in West Allis, Wisconsin to the late Walter and Maybelle (Kuhlmann) Goering. He graduated from West Allis High School and went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Navy on the USS New Jersey. On September 15, 1951, Frederick was united in marriage to Beverly Hermann in Milwaukee. The couple spent a wonderful 67 years together traveling and raising their children before Beverly's passing in 2018. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge 170 and all masonic organizations Tripoli and Beja Shrine Temple. Frederick was a past High Priest of Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Wisconsin and Swedish and York Rite. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano.

Frederick is survived by his children, Sandra Billies and Mark Goering; granddaughters, Elizabeth Billies and Jennifer Goering; and great-grandchildren, Zoey and James. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Frederick is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Deborah Goering; sisters, Karen and Christine; and parents, Walter and Maybelle Goering.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Shawano American Legion Post #117 at the church. Inurnment will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield at a later date.
