Died on October 29, 2025.
Fred was a lifelong scientist, receiving his PhD in physics from Notre Dame. His love of flying and coaching others on soaring planes lasted over 50 years. He had an intense interest in American History.
Preceded in death by son, Martin.
Survived by loving wife of 71 years, Carol; children, Kevin (Kathy), John (Deb), Ann (Brian) Sieg, Jeanne (Mike) Golberg; daughter-in-law, Mary Grove; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry & Dennis.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, November 5th at the Church of St. Peter, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy., Mendota.
Visitation 1 hour prior to the Mass at church.
Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
