Frederick Kimbrell Obituary
He was born October 9, 1950 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Ivy Marvin Kimbrell and Ines Griffin Kimbrell. Having moved to Georgia after only a few months old, Freddy lived most of his life in the Waycross area and attended Hoboken and Ware County High School. He retired from Walmart as a personnel manager, and he was formerly employed by R.C. Cola and Gaston Photo Finishing. Freddy formerly attended Emerson Park Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Marvin Kimbrell; and sister, Dorothy Bowman (Freddy).
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Annie Belle Davis Kimbrell of Waycross; his son, Brian Wayne Kimbrell (Cora) of Kingsland; his cherished grandchildren, Kayla Kimbrell (Devin Zmuda) of Middleburg, FL, and Kierstan Rebecca Daignault (Ricky) of Tracy City, TN; sister, Lilly Hornback (late Buck) of Middleburg, FL; brother, M.L. Kimbrell (Susan) of New Braunfels, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday (May 7, 2025) at Music Funeral Home.
