Frederick "Freddy" Lloyd Miler, age 78, of Clarksville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2024. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on June 10, 1946, to the late Lloyd Miler and Herthel (Thursten) Miler. Freddy was a faithful Christian. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Tennessee Highway Patrol Dispatcher, Cheatham County Police Officer, and worked for the Ashland City Wastewater Treatment Plant and Tennison Bus. Machine. He was also self employed. With enough time, he could build just about anything. He loved to travel and was an amazing musician. He is fondly remembered as a member of Bluff Creek Bluegrass (Old Powder Mill Music). Freddy is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Herthel Miler; wives, Rita Dianne Miler and Edna Faye Miler; and son, Michael Williams. He is survived by his sons, Robert Miler (Michelle) and Greg Williams (Stacie); daughter-in-law, Kim Williams; sister, Brenda Douglas; grandchildren, Brett Miler, Zachary Miler, Wesley Travis (Holly), Erica Travis, Shelby Thompson (Ryan), Kyle Williams (Horte), Casey (Megan) Williams, Evan Williams (Jaycee), and Cory Benson; great grandchildren, Lucas Miler, Kaleb Ellis, Emma Friton, Leona Williams, and Oliver Williams; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Ron Anderson and Shane Moore officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10am until the service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be James Davis, Kevin Loveless, Ryan Thompson, Wesley Travis, Zachary Miler, and Brett Miler.
