Frederick Leon Revord

Turner, Michigan

Frederick passed away on August 26, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born on August 12, 1936 to the late Charles and Marie (Sylvester) Revord. Fred was a farmer and worked at St. Vincent De Paul of Tawas until he retired. He loved working in his garden and growing his flowers and was an animal lover. In his younger years he was an avid hunter. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea.

He is survived by his son Brent (Amy) Mays, their children Brent Jr. and Braxton. Brothers and siters Orville (Grace) Revord, Wilfred Revord, Joyce Christensen, Allen (Mary) Revord, and Marlene (George) Guoan; Many Nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters Melvin (Charlene) Revord, Neil (Ruth) Revord, George (Gladys) Revord and Lila Guoan, a brother-in-law Virgil Christensen.

Fred's family would like to thank the members of Compassus Hospice Care of Saginaw who helped take care of Fred during his last few days. Also, many thanks to Fred's neighbors Beverly and Paul who helped in so many ways when could not be there.

Funeral mass will be on Thursday September 4, 2025 at 11am at Resurrection of the Lord Church with Fred's nephew Joseph Christensen FMI presiding with burial at St. James Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish on Wednesday from 2pm till 7pm. On Thursday from 10am till time of mass at Church. Memorials may be given to FMI-Franciscans of Mary Immaculate or family's wishes.
