Fred was born in Tokyo, Japan on October 23, 1959, while his dad served our country in the military. He sadly left us suddenly on January 8th, 2024. His loving wife and soulmate, Amy will truly keep him forever in her heart. He is survived by his spouse, Amy (nee Losekamp) Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Marie & Fred Riley and his sister, Cheryl Calhoun as well as Amy's parents, Jim and Joan Losekamp. He is survived by Amy's siblings, Jim (Karen), Ken (Melissa), Ron (Patty), Dan, Ed (Yvonne), Bill (Becky), and Karen (Rob Rouse). He is also survived by his nephews, Andre Calhoun & Tony Riley and niece, Stephanie Calhoun, and Amy's nieces and nephews, Brian(Lisa), Jen(Joe), Nick(Tara), Heather(Scott), Holly(Josh), Shannon(Brian), Kenny, Angela(Jeremy), Robby(Kelly), Craig(Ashley), Matthew(Kyley), April(Andrew), Amber(Jake), Danny(Becca), Kevin(Megan), Amanda, Ashley(Paul), Katie(Matt), Billy(Emily), and Tony. Also, numerous great nieces and nephews.
Fred was a caregiver for the elderly. He worked at Pleasant Ridge Health Care Center for the last 17 years and many other locations prior. He was truly a lover of all animals especially his fur babies, Mina and Gabby. Fred had a great sense of humor and loved creating stories and sharing those with others. Fred had a great enthusiasm for all kinds of music and enjoyed a variety of many concerts in his earlier years.
Most of all, Fred should be remembered for the friendship he showed to many people he met and worked with but, especially his coworkers. Especially to be mentioned are 2 of his lifelong friends, Vickie Henderson and Linda McCart.
