Frederick C Rodriguez

Frederick Carl Rodriguez, age 84, of Gulliver, passed away at his home on March 3, 2026.

Freddie was born on October 23, 1941, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Eliseo J. Rodriguez and Marie E. (Strassburg) Rodriguez. He was raised with strong family values and a deep appreciation for faith and hard work.

Freddie completed high school and began working as a builder in the construction industry before proudly enlisting in the United States Army. His military service took him to the Vietnam War where he fought and was wounded, eventually being honorable discharged for his injuries and heroism.

He enjoyed studying the Bible and was a man of faith. Earlier in life, he especially loved fishing and hunting, hobbies that brought him peace and joy in the outdoors.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Fausett Family Funeral Homes of Manistique on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Nate Erickson officiating. A graveside service will take place at Wood Cemetery, with military honors in the spring. Date is to be determined.

Memorial contributions in Freddie's honor, may be directed to the family for future designation.
