Graveside service for Frederick "Fred" Roloff, 67, of Lawton will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Flower Mound Cemetery with Don Armes officiating.
Fred passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at his home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Fred was born on December 3, 1958 in Toul, France to Frederick Roland and Mary Anna (Kacevicius) Roloff. The family came to
Lawton, Oklahoma where Fred grew up and attended school, graduating from Lawton High School. He worked in automotive parts for various dealerships from 1978 until 1990. During this time, Fred and Elizabeth Watson were married on June 30, 1979 and they made Lawton their home. He attended Cameron University, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. Fred's passion was teaching, and he began his career in education in 1993 as a math teacher at Tomlinson Junior High School before moving to MacArthur High School. He later earned his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Texas and then became the Dean of Students at MacArthur High School. Before his retirement in 2019, he held the position of Director of Testing and Accountability for Lawton Public Schools District. Fred was also a First Responder for the Flower Mound Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, dirtbikes, and 4-wheelers. He also liked hunting and his Friday night poker games. Fred enjoyed farming and the livestock shows with his sons, Joseph and Stephen. He loved his Corvette but above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Roloff, of the home; his son and daughter in law, Joseph and Megan Roloff, of
Lawton, OK; his grandchildren, Conner, Kendall, and Alexandria Roloff; his siblings and their spouses, John and Mary Roloff and Stephanie and Jon Paul Pendergrass; his brothers and sisters in law, Mike and Kathy Watson, Patrick Watson, and Scott Haines; and many friends including his oldest friends, Mike and Tonya Sanders.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mary Roloff; his son, Stephen Roloff; his mother and father in law, Anna and Edward Watson; and his sister in law, Theresa Mary Watson-Haines.
