Frederick J. Santos

Frederick (Fred) J. Santos, age 75, of New Bedford, passed away on September 10, 2024 at Saint Luke's Hospital. He was the loving companion of Jeannie Larkin.
Born in Taunton, Frederick was the son of the late Frederick and Dolores (Reynolds) Santos.
Before retiring, Fred worked as a mechanical operator at Symmetry Medical and owned Perfection Auto Body in Middleboro, MA for over 20 years.
He enjoyed antique cars, carpentry, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his companion of over 24 years, Jeannie; two daughters, Traci Bach (James) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Amy Santos of Greenville, NC; his grandchildren Gabriel, Cooper, Cole, and Colin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Santos and his brother, Paul Santos.
Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16th at 10 AM in Saint Joseph Cemetery, 475 East Britannia Street, Taunton MA 02780. Relatives and friends may meet directly at the front gate of the Cemetery.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
