Frederick Shirk Obituary
Frederick Ernest Shirk, was born on Sunday, February 18, 1934, in Campbelltown, PA, the son of Frederick and Helen Shirk. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Helen Shirk; and brother-in-law Lamar Light. He is survived by his wife Brenda; sister Janice (Shirk) Light; daughter Debra Shirk Wilkenloh and husband Andrew; sons Frederick Shirk and Justin Shirk; and grandson, Benjamin Shirk.
Fred served in the Air Force in Korea from 1953 - 1957. After being discharged he attended Penn State University and Johns Hopkins University earning a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Fred spent his career in sales with an electronics and computer manufacturer in Massachusetts until retiring in Albuquerque, NM.
A Graveside Service for Fred will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
