It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we celebrate the life of Patricia Ann "Trish" Brown, born November 29, 1955, to Ben and Ann Porter of
Albuquerque, New Mexico. Trish entered the gates of heaven on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the age of 70.
Trish is preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel Lee "Dan" Brown. Trish and Dan were married in June of 1982, and for 37 beautiful years, they shared a marriage grounded in love, devotion, and unwavering partnership. Together they built a life rich with family, friendship, and shared dreams. Through life's joys and challenges, their commitment to one another never wavered, serving as a quiet example of enduring love to all who knew them.
Trish is survived by her loving children, Katelyn Brown, April Perkins, Robyn Johnson, Ryan Brown, and spouse Angel Brown. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jackson and Chase Teague; Dylan, Jillian, and Mason Brown; Brynlee and Brigston Johnson. Family was the center of her world and her greatest source of joy. She deeply cherished her children, Katelyn, April, Robyn, and Ryan, and took immense pride in being their mother and stepmother. She was always there to offer unwavering love, guidance, and support. As a grandmother, she found endless happiness in the laughter and accomplishments of her grandchildren, treasuring every moment spent with them and holding each of them close to her heart.
Trish led a vibrant and spirited life. She graduated from Burleson High School in 1973 and went on to the University of Texas at Arlington, where she completed her degree to become a teacher. In June of 1976, she enlisted in the Air National Guard as an entomology specialist. Through her exemplary performance in the Air National Guard, she was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Airman of the Year for the United States in the Fall of 1976. After her time in the National Guard, she spent 38 extraordinary years devoting herself to shaping young minds as a beloved middle school coach and science teacher in Rockwall ISD.
Her faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. It guided her steps, shaped her character, and gave her strength through every season. She lived her faith quietly but boldly - in acts of service, in forgiveness, in compassion, and in unwavering love.
Trish was also preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ann Porter, and survived by her sister, Ada Dickson, nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we are comforted knowing that her legacy lives on - in the family she deeply cherished, and the love she sowed everywhere she went. Well done, good and faithful servant. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
