Frederick Stackpoole Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jowett Funeral Home and Cremation Service & Reception Center - Port Huron on Jun. 15, 2025.
Frederick "Rick" Joseph Stackpoole, age 70, of Marine City, Michigan, passed away on June 14, 2025.
A 1973 graduate of Lakeshore High School, Rick proudly played hockey and embraced life with an adventurous heart. He loved nothing more than hitting the open road on his Harley, casting a line on a quiet lake, or cheering on his beloved Detroit sports teams. Whether building with his hands or making time for a friend, Rick's generous spirit and deep loyalty left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
He worked for many years as a skilled carpenter and later retired from Ford Motor Company, always taking pride in a job done right. Above all, Rick cherished his time with family and friends. He was fiercely loved and will be deeply missed.
Rick is survived by his former wife, Phyllis Stackpoole(Ceccacci); his children, Nickolas Stackpoole, Stacey (Lance) Lake, and Joseph (Stevie) Stackpoole; his grandchildren, Hayleigh, Nikkita, Owen, and Nickolas; his mother, Doris Stackpoole; and his siblings, Crystal Craik, Pam Woolery, Kelley (Terry) Roberts, Kevin (Cindy) Stackpoole, and Scott (Sherry) Stackpoole. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Walter Stackpoole; his brother David Stackpoole; and his brother in laws Steve Craik and Jerry Woolery.
Please join us as we celebrate the life, laughter, and love of our beloved Rick - father, son, brother, friend, adventurer and storyteller on Saturday - August 23, 2025 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm at the River Crab Blue Water Inn - 1337 River Road - St. Clair. Let's gather to honor his memory, share stories and ride the waves of laughter and tears, just as he would have wanted - with warmth, a little mischief, and a lot of heart.
In the meantime, ride free, Rick. You'll always be in our hearts.
