Frederick Wright Obituary
Born in Lebanon on April 18, 1970, he was the son of the late Frederick L. Wright, III, and Marjorie A. Bush Wright. For over 30 years he had worked as a Corrections Officer for Dauphin County Prison. He bowled with the Leisure Lanes Bowling League. He was an NRA member and a member of the F.O.P. He also enjoyed traveling throughout the US. His avid love for archery led him in the pursuit of the S. African Big 5 to hunt alongside his brother from another mother, Arthur Maker, of Welkom, S. Africa. He finished his journey with 4 out of the 5.
He is survived by his children: Frederick L. Wright, V, of Wernersville and Cassandra L. Wright and her wife Rebecca Wright of Adamstown; brothers: Jeff Wright, Andy (Becky) Wright, Ben Wright, and Eric (Rosie) Wright; sisters Carrie Meyer and Beth (Shawn) Ross; grandson Nolan Lee Thompson; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion Betheny Kennedy and her daughter Emma.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.
