Fredia Hall, 79, widow of Kenneth "Redbird" Hall, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 15, 1944 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Nellie Wilson Stephens. Fredia was a former nursing aide with Spring Haven and Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Fredia was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and collecting antiques. She also loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie Fain, and siblings, Rosie Sinkhorn, Clyde Stephens, Andrew Stephens, and infant Norman Stephens.
Fredia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mack (Sue) Hall, Stephanie (Ray) Hisel, Amanda (Lonnie) Smith, brother, Luther Stephens, sister-in-law, Vickie Barnett, grandchildren, Danny (Laura) Erskine, Jr., Tiffany (T.J.) Shaddix, Courtney (Steven) Willoughby, Kenneth (Kristy) Smith, Sarah Smith, great-grandchildren, Jesse Shaddix, Clayton Shaddix, Cooper Shaddix, Anna Probus, Cheyenne Shaddix, Owen Erskine, Case Erskine, Will Probus, and Leland Willoughby.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 also at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Masonic Cemetery where pallbearers will be Jesse Shaddix, Clayton Shaddix, Cooper Shaddix, Cheyenne Shaddix, Jermie Barnett, Cody Barnett, and Leland Willoughby. Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolence and share memories here on Fredia's tribute wall.
