born July 6, 1941, and passed away on December 1, 2022. Husband of Patricia Virginia Wilson Bakaitis; father of Matthew Bakaitis (Bridget Kriner) and Teddy Theresa Bakaitis Asher (Melissa Asher); grandfather of Winifred T. and Henrietta C. Kriner-Bakaitis; son of Joseph Edmund Bakaitis II and Catherine A. Pryber (both deceased); brother of Joseph Edmund Bakaitis III (Annebelle (Peggy) (both deceased), Leonard (deceased), and Arthur (deceased) (N. Susan). He was a US Navy Veteran. He could fix anything, loved his plaid shirts, watching MSNBC especially Rachel Maddow Show; but his greatest love was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at St. Jerome's Parish, 15000 Lakeshore Blvd, Cleveland, where the family will receive friends an hour before Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44110-9915. Jakubs & Son Funeral Home of Cleveland is handling arrangements.
