Fredrick J. Bohley

Fredrick J. Bohley, 90, of Rensselaer, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on February 6th 2026.

Fred was born August 14, 1935, in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Leonard and Bertha (Georgia) Bohley.

He enjoyed going to antique and estate sales, collecting model cars and trains, and loved to spend time listening to the oldies music.

Fred had been a Truck Driver for Local 294 in Albany for over 40 years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Letzelter-Bohley; his children, Michael VonBohlen, Timothy (Cindylee)Bohley, Darryl Bohley, and Maureen (Jeff) Bruce; grand daughter, Sierra Jones (Daryl); his step children, Kathleen Revell, Judy Galvin, Mary Sill, Patricia Sangao, James Letzelter, and Joanne Shatraw; daughter-in-law, Anita Bohley; his siblings, Gerard (Pat) Bohley, Raymond Bohley, and Darlene Mullally ; Fred is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 Years, Carol F. Bohley; his children, Kimberley Hinckley; Fredrick Bohley Jr., and Gary Bohley;his siblings, Leonard (Shirley) Bohley Jr., Audrey (Harvey) Nutter, Ronald (Nancy) Bohley, Bernard Bohley, and Joyce (Dan) Raymond.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 11am-12pm on Monday, February16 with a funeral ceremony following at 12:00 pm in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer.
