Fredrick Donecker Jr. Obituary
Fredrick William Donecker Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 80. He was born on August 20, 1945, to the late Fredrick Donecker Sr. and Elizabeth Mary Donecker.
Fredrick is survived by his loving wife, Germaine Donecker; his two sisters, Rose and Tara; and his four children and spouses: Freddie (Bethany), Wayne (Aimee), Paula (Carlos), and Steve (Brandy).
His memory will be cherished by his thirteen grandchildren: Dillon, Nick, Tyler, Colton, Marlyssa, Alexis, Lauren, Rylan, Heather, Landon, Kyra, CJ, and Dailah. He was also a proud great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service to honor Fredrick's life will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 12:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home, located at 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX 78154.
An Interment Ceremony will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).
