Robert Lee Love, December 26 1932 - October 17 2025 of San Antonio, Texas passed on October 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna Marie Love and survived by his sons Robert, Michael, Russell and their families.

Bob was born in Sophia, West Virginia, a small coal mining town. He joined the Air Force after high school and was stationed in Florida where he met and married Anna Marie Swaffield on April 25, 1954.

After returning from the Korean War in 1955, Bob continued his Air Force career in Civil Engineering, he also loved playing softball for the Air Force team. He traveled all over the world and the family relocated multiple times including Texas, Japan, Montana and Guam before retiring in Cibolo, Texas in 1970.

After retirement, Bob built a successful plumbing company over the next 25 years before retiring in 1995. Bob loved gambling and the outdoors, he spent his life hunting, fishing and playing golf.

The family will receive friends on October 29, 2025 from 4PM - 7PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The family would like to thank his niece Carol Ann and husband David Hylton, who have been there to support and care for Bob over the years. Thanks to his good friend Harold Mahan for being by his side, as well as the staff at Elan Westpointe Assisted Living and the caregivers at Magnolia Hospice for the loving care of Bob during his final days.
