Tamara "Tammy" Sue Love, 67, of Sunset, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2025 due to a lifelong heart condition.
Born on March 26, 1958, in Blackfoot, Idaho to Derrell and Dorothy Jolley Gneiting. Tamara was raised with her siblings, Jeannie, John, Joe, and Michael. She loved being raised on her family farm and always talked about her horses she grew up riding and the dogs they had around the farm. She graduated from Hermiston High School and loved playing softball and volleyball with her school and church teams. She attended Ricks College and then went on to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chicago, IL. She then attended Utah State University and studied cosmetology and interior design.
While attending Utah State she met the love of her life, Michael Love. They were then married for time and all eternity on August 26th. 1983 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Mike and Tamara enjoyed spending time together going for walks while holding hands, going for drives, going camping and watching movies together. Together they created a beautiful life, and they welcomed 3 little tornadoes, Jared, Thomas, and Christian, into the world. Tamara was extremely proud of her kids and grandkids.
Tamara was known for being so supportive of her family. Spending time with her nieces and nephews, going to all the events her kids and grandkids had going on. She loved shopping and made sure her kids and grandkids had clothes from the moment they were born. She loved taking her grandkids shopping for their birthdays. She loved sewing and watching Hallmark movies, playing sports like softball. She loved The Utah Jazz and going on road trips. She looked forward to our annual camping trips and family get togethers. You could always count on Tamara calling almost daily asking "How can I help", "what do you need", "what do the kids need", "can I come help fold your laundry" and if you missed her call, you could always expect a voicemail saying, "this is mom, Tamara." And then she would go on to say what she was calling you for. She was also very known for misplacing her phone and glasses. Tamara had many callings for the church including her latest favorite that was delivering birthday cards. She was so good at making people feel loved.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Micheal Love; her son Jared Love (Michelle Love); her son Thomas Love (Carina Love); her son Christian Love (Kensie Love) and her 8 grandchildren Gabe, Beckam, Jaxon, Brylee, Maggie, Tayson, Kyler and Hudson. Tamara is also survived by her many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her Mother Dorothy, Father Derrell, Sister Jeannie Wray, her brothers John, Joe, and Michael Gneiting and her sweet baby grandson Kyler.
A celebration of Tamara's life will be held on November 1st,2025 at 11:00am at the LDS church building located at 2431 N 250 W, Sunset, UT 84015.
