MUNCIE – Fredrick Wayne Fullhart, 75, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 8, 2022.
He was born on October 14, 1946, to Lowell Jefferson and Wanda Mae (Conner) Fullhart. He was a 1965 graduate of Selma High School. He married his devoted wife of nearly 54 years, Connie M. Stroud on September 20, 1969.
Fred was raised in Selma and spent most of his life in Muncie and retired from Westinghouse/ABB. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Navy. He was very proud that he served his country. Fred had his faithful companion Connie (the dog) and they went everywhere together. He loved a good drive and spending time in the man cave.
This very small tribute is a glimpse of adoration for our beloved hero. We find it surreal to try to honor 75 years of life and encompass in a few paragraphs. Fred was a loving husband, dad, papaw and great papaw. Fred was the patriarch of the Fullhart family. He would give anything and everything he could to us. You could not be around Fred without knowing you were loved. His very first granddaughter, Alye has very fond memories with her papaw. You can count on several of his sons' childhood buddies having a great story about the neighborhood hangout.
The most loyal, strong, caring, funny character joined his parents; sister, Loretta (Fullhart) Pack; step father, Charles Baugher and a baby granddaughter.
Left behind to cherish him are his wife, Connie; two sons, Jefferson "Jeff" and wife, Candy and Joseph "Joe" and wife, Haley; grandchildren, Alyson "Alye" and husband, Doug Alger, Andrew (girlfriend Kenzie), Seth, Joel; and step- grandchildren, Traci and Cassidy. He also had two adoring great-granddaughters, who could always count on papaw's snacks, Olivia and Chloe Alger. Fred's brother Phil will carry on his memory with nieces, Debbie and Rhonda. If you knew Fred, you were family so consider yourself included.
Following Fred's requests, there will be no services. He will be cremated and his cremated remains will stay with the family. We truly appreciate all the prayers during this time. The love and support genuinely mean so much. We've enjoyed the comments and stories on Facebook.
