Fredrick Louis Hill, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, U.S. veteran, and lifelong Chicago Bears fan, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 27, 1938, in Los Angeles, California, Fred lived a full life rooted in love, loyalty, and laughter. He had a sharp wit and an inappropriate sense of humor-always ready with a joke to lift someone's spirits or lighten the room. He brought joy and warmth wherever he went, with his infectious laughter and big heart. Fred served his country honorably and carried that same sense of duty and dedication into every part of his life. He was a man who stood by his values, took care of his loved ones, and never missed a Bears game-no matter how tough the season. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane, and their children: Lisa Hill, Teresa (Hazim) Saadan, Jeff Hill, Jill Cano, and Rebecca (Matt) Nyeholt. He was a loving brother to ten siblings, and a favorite uncle to many. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Sydni, Alex, Nathan, Bronson, Lucia, and Omar, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the legacy of a man who made the world brighter with his humor, devotion, and love. Visitation to celebrate Fred's life will be held on Monday from 3 - 8pm at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W 147th Street Midlothian, Illinois. Funeral service beginning with prayers at funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30am, going to St Christopher Church - St. Augustine Parish for mass at 11am.Fredrick Louis Hill will be dearly missed, but his spirit lives on in every smile he brought to others and every life he touched. May he rest in peace.
